Hi. I have a windows 7 pro. 64 bit machine. I bought the Diamond VC500 video capturing device. I installed the Diamond VC500 software and drivers and managed to get it to work from an online guide. There are other users that were having problems getting it to work on windows 7. My computer recognized it fine and I could capture video from it.

Also when Power Director doesnt see the driver, the EzGrabber software provided with the VC500 does see the driver and can capture video. This leads me to believe that PowerDirector has the issue. I have seen other post regarding an Issue with the VC500 and previous version of Power Director, but nothing is helping my issues.

Hi all, I#x27;m new here. I#x27;ve installed the latest Windows 7 drivers from Diamond for the VC500 - and also disabled my blueTooth adapter. The Device did not install - under Device Manager there is a quot;OTG102quot; Icon under quot;Other Devicesquot; that won#x27;t install. Just sharing what I did to get this device to work with OBSP very simple yet I made it difficultP. It costs almost as much as the Diamond VC500 package, but in my state of desperation to actually find something that would work, it was worth it. It works flawlessly with the VC500 capture device and drivers; audio and video copy quality is as good as it can get given the media; and the GUI adapted itself effortlessly to my 4K screen.
